About the Role

We are currently seeking to hire accomplished senior associates with over 8 years of experience in Corporate and M&A practice to complement our award-winning practice. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our Corporate and M&A team across a spectrum of corporate transactions. Qualifications

    • A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in law firms, showcasing a proven track record in Corporate and M&A practice.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai languages.

About the Role

Legal Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to provide legal support for our Corporate and M&A Practice. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our lawyers in various aspects of corporate transactions, ensuring seamless incorporation of new companies, compliance with local legislation, and maintaining accurate corporate filings and closing binders for our clients.

Responsibilities

    • Preparing applications and related documents for registration with government authorities
    • Filing applications and related documents systematically and on time.
    • Liaising effectively with officials in charge of the government authorities such as Thailand’s Department of Business Development (DBD), Revenue Department, Board of Investment and other government authorities to facilitate smooth legal processes.

About the Role

As we continue to expand our firm and will be moving to a larger space located in Vivre, Langsuan, we are looking for a Billing Officer to assist the Finance and Accounting Department in tasks related to billing processes including the preparation and issuance of invoices.

Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Preparing invoices in compliance with firm standards
    • Ensuring precise and clearly organized billing of the departments’ offered services
    • Performing the invoicing procedure and appropriately sending out invoices

Personal Assistant

We are seeking to hire a Personal Assistant (PA) to handle a diverse range of administrative, clerical, and secretarial responsibilities for our lawyers. In this role, you will provide support to 3 – 4 lawyers, assisting them with tasks such as preparing correspondence, typing and formatting legal documents, conducting legal research, managing files and documents, and maintaining calendars and schedules.

About the Role

Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers.
    • Coordinate with internal and external messengers for document pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate handling of important legal documents.

Scope of work

Position
The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s accounting operations, including producing periodic financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and developing comprehensive controls and budgets to mitigate risk and improve financial accuracy. The incumbent will also ensure that all financial activity complies with reporting standards and will play a critical role in maintaining the firm’s financial health and stability.

Key responsibilities

    • Establishing financial procedures, controls, and accounting policies to promote transparency and consistency
    • Managing and ensuring the integrity of the monthly closing process, including processing, controls, and reconciliations in accordance with the financial control policy
    • Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
    • Supervising the formal balance sheet review cycle, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management
    • Preparing various financial statements, analysis, and ensuring compliance
    • Developing and implementing billing and collection policies and procedures, overseeing the billing and collection team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
    • Preparing and delivering in-depth financial analysis and insightful narrative on financial and commercial areas for operational and strategic discussions
    • Identifying and undertaking key projects in line with the firm’s strategic plan
    • Liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
    • Assisting the COO in managing the annual rate review process, including the gathering of industry data and all associated management information

Desired characteristics and capabilities

    • Ability to take a strategic view of the business and its impact on finance to improve and deliver proactive service
    • Commercial finance background, demonstrating the creation of a results-driven environment
    • Strong knowledge of management information systems, including Excel, and using them effectively for reporting purposes
    • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and redistribute work across the team as needed
